As a character on the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar played Marina Cooper. This role earned her an award nomination from Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas from 2007 until 2008 on ABC's Women's Murder Club. She starred as Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC Pilot that was not picked up.
